HATRED (NED)
BLASPHEMOUS DELIVERANCE Deity Down Records
Written by Zvetan Rachev on Tuesday 18 March, 2008. Last updated on Tuesday 18 March, 2008
Finally after almost 10 years of existence, the Dutch Death Metal warriors Hatred release their debut album "Blasphemous Deliverance" via Deity Down Records. Before that they had one self-titled demo and one MCD from 2003 titled "Chaos In The Flesh". "Blasphemous Deliverance" is also the first Hatred release with the new vocalist Koen Dingemans who is also growling for Stronghold.
The first thing that impressed me when I saw this album was the cover-artwork: a picture of some of the most popular religious symbols in the world today. All lyrics are against the organized religion and its servants. Speaking about the music Hatred deliver 11 pieces of aggressive oldschool Death Metal with sound that reminds me a lot of the Dutch Death Metal masters Altar. All tracks have powerful riffs and blasting drumming- just hear one of my personal favourites "Involution" and you will be convinced by my words. Koen Dingemans throws out some very good Death Metal growls in a way that every word of his lyrics can be heard clearly.

"Blasphemous Deliverance" was recorded at Rotterdam's Excess Studios and the producer Hans Pieters has achieved very good and uncompromising sound. Each one of the instruments is audible making Hatred's debut of a quality far above average. This band definitely has future if they continue playing such outrageously good Death Metal. Worth hearing!
