Point-Blank formed in 2005 from Pohjois-Pohjanmas, Finland and their first demo "Gatling Gun Manifest," released in 2007, gives an awesome introduction. Having gun shots being heard as the title track begins really captures the musical talents of this five piece bullet range. Point-Blank self released this demo and want to be recognized and welcomed into the metal music world. "Die Or Obey," is the next track and the vocal abilities from their vocalist Tomi Vähäkangas gives this band that spark that they've currently got lit, meaning that this demo is easily in the bag already. Much of Point-Blank’s style evokes US band Vital Remains. Guitarists Janne Satokangas and Jaakko Ulanto do an excellent job on the solos and fast guitar riffs offered on this demo. Their bassist Antti Kurikka and drummer Aarno Rousi also do their part with this set of tracks. “Voices,” is a track which showcases the good band’s dynamic sound I have just described, starting with a very nice solo before building into the main body of the track, which Antii and Aarno keep alive and well throughout”. Point-Blank are new to the metal music world, and will by far be a great addition.
