I was appointed to judge the fourth release from the yet unsigned Finnish melodic Death metal band Autere. It's called "Seizure", and it's a release with some potential. The four songs on this EP have got some qualities like for example the different styles of vocals that's been used by vocalist Jemmy Kaumi. He's put a guttered death grunt voice as well as some kind of hardcore voice into this EP. The hardcore voice is more used as back-vocals, while the death grunts are the standard voice on this one. Also the affectionate drum-parts are good like for example in the middle of the track "Logic Invoice". On this EP there are also some extra's (the making of "Seizure", "Perdition" music video and "Begone XVIII" live video).
