The sixth full-length album titled "Lifelong Days" released by Grenouer landed on my desk for review. This album apparently was recorded at the Finish Astia-studio, which seems to be a famous one (?). Okay, I listened to this album, which was by the way already released in 2008, for several times and had to conclude that there's lot of variation in it, and that this album needs time to grow on you. Lots of catchy choruses and good hooks are audible, and the needed melody also is involved.
Also the use of keyboards come by, that creates some kind of atmosphere in track "Away from Now", where according to me also some kind of echo is notable on the voice of Ind.
The vocal outburst however sometimes are great, like the one used in "Finding the One". This album has got a industrial touch, and I'm sure Fear Factory has a lot to do with that. Listen to tracks as "Off the Back of Others" and "Re-Active", and you'll agree that there are lots of FF-influences notable. Last track on this disc is the pretty mellow track "Patience", which ends of this fine album.
