We have been receiving some quite disturbing brutal stuff here on Archaic Magazine, and well, to keep in that vein now it’s time to present the new “little creature” of extreme US maniacs Lividity and their 4^th album entitled “To Desecrate and Defile” licensed through Epitome Productions in the US.

As many of you may know, these psychos have been around from quite a while and that explains the large discography they have with several Live works, splits, Eps…and so forth, so this is by no means the bunch of teenagers pretending to be sick and funny…no way.

Musically I find them now moving more to a Brutal Death Metal direction than straight porno-grind  they used to be on previews releases, which I think is better now, because shows a more matured band, doing more interesting things but without losing their sick trade mark. However, don’t take me wrong!!! this is absolutely insane death porno-grind…just read such twisted titles tracks as “Sword of Sodomy” , “Surround by Disgust “or “Orgasmic Flesh Feed”…eh?...

I liked so much the combination of devilish ultra fast grinding assaults with mid tempo heavy death metal parts, especially because when they slow it down you can enjoy very amazing arrangements either from the guitars department, the vocal unit or the infamous drums section…yep…simply superb and blessed…or may I say…cursed?!!!…with an exquisite sound production that is heavily crystal but evil, obscure and a little bit malicious…finally if all the above mentioned wouldn't be enough, we find TWO covers from the german masters of Gore Blood "Wie Krieger Sterben" & "Roman Whores"...both very well performed I must confess.

So here’s my summary, if you are into that type of music that offends the moral rules because of its irreverent content, you know “Those Groups” that your parents hate and detest because “that’s not music”…ehmm…I think this is your record, brutal, varied, heavy and with the sick touch of pornography that only Livity has…so go GET IT NOW!!!
