Biography:

-1989- Having travelled through time and space for many centuries the immortal souls of godless have came to conquer this new era with their dark wisdom . It was in the winter of 1989 a.s. that the band godless was prepared to crush the black metal scene. -1990- Godless started playing original stuff at the beginning of 1990 a.s. as a satanic black / death metal band. The first black metal band from Puerto Rico... Almost a legend now. One of the first black metal bands from the u.s.a. before the black metal bomb exploited. Godless was formed by the ancient soul named lord asaradel. -1993- Some years passed by and a lot of unreleased recordings and line-up changes happened until 1993 a.s. when the band released their first demo rehearsal called "Satan Answered My Prayer". The response from the people world wide was great although the sound of this demo wasn"t too good at that time . The legion at the command in that time were: gigno ab malum(vocals), angel(guitars), faustus(bass), and lord asaradel (drums & backing vocals). -1994- Angel fell in prison and later in the same year gorgo(guitars) joined the band to re-released the "Satan Answered My Prayer" demo in an studio version. -1996- Time later; with other line-up, at the end of 1996 a.s. godless recorded a rehearsal promo song called: "Godless (Desertor Of Heaven)". -1997- Having a lot of line-up changes in godless ( 3 vocalists and 11 guitarists from 1990 to 1997 a.s.) lord asaradel decided in 1997 a.s. to have the band as a studio project due to the ex-members musical incompetence . In the summer of 1997 a.s. lord asaradel decided to record their last promo using one of his last musicians. A promo song called "keeping the flame burning"was recorded. -1998- Having worked with a band called vampiric dominium for some time lord asaradel decided to keep working in godless with the help of hannibal (main man from vampiric dominium). Vampiric dominium recorded in 1996 a.s. a rehearsal demo called " Demo Mcmxcvi ". This demo was a very original piece of black art . Totally different with an excellent bass lines never heard before in this kind of dark music . With the time vampiric dominium and godless became the same band. In may of 1998 a.s. godless recorded the new promo cd"98 called "Requiem Aeternam Done Eis" with hannibal (guitars,bass & keyboards) and lord asaradel on (drums & vocals). This promo has three songs called "Corpore Insepulto","Ziarahs" and "Quae Meus Memoria Nequire Oblivisci". The technical style is more melodic and atmospheric than ever, a real piece of symphonic succubic metal art (as they described their style at that time). -2000- Lord asaradel moved to pittsburgh, pa to play with the mighty black/death legends called lethal prayer (bill koblak"s band..ex-acheron member / incantation session member). Due to some reasons lord asaradel moved back to p.r. that year ? -2001- Godless was reformed with a complete line-up and did some violent shows across p.r. . Due to the violence and atrocities of the shows (including several blasphemies on stage and bloody slashes),the band won the hate of all the worthless puertorican metal scene becoming the most hated band from p.r.. -2002-2003- After more than 12 years it was in may of 2002 a.s. that godless entered in the studio to record their first official cd. The cd will contain 10 tracks including a mayhem cover "Chainsaw Guts Fuck" and it will feature bill"belial" koblak from lethal prayer (ex-acheron member / incantation session member) on one intro. The music of this new cd will be more aggressive and orchestratical; including different styles of vocals from clean to death & black, female enchanted vocals, technical and fast drumming, majestic keyboards and powerfull guitar riffs and melodies made in an orchestratic form. The music and lyrics are totally based in the oriental myths surrounding the summerian cahra and the abominations beyond sirius.the new hellish legion at the command is: lord asaradel (drums & lead vocals), hannibal (lead & acoustic guitars, keyboards & backing vocals), count magnus (bass) and marduk (rythm guitars).
